\u25cfHow to use millefiori (flower pattern) production tools<\/p>\n

There are two types of millefiori-making tools: 5-blade and 7-blade. (The photo shows the 5-blade tool.)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. The molten glass is wound onto a rod.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

2. Insert the rolled-up glass into the top of the millefiori-making tool (A).<\/p>\n

(The tip is wound into a cylindrical shape)<\/p>\n

3. With it inserted, push down the lever (B) toward the bottom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

4. The claws in part (A) close, creating five or seven grooves in the molten glass (cylindrical).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

5. If a groove is formed, insert a colored rod (C) of a different color (preferably thinner) into the groove and reheat.<\/p>\n

6. Wrap a different color (D) color rod or clear on top of the reheated material.<\/p>\n

7. If you stretch it out, there will be 5 or 7 patterns.
